With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah’s newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat and fish on Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in the campgrounds. Feeling a little daring? Swim out to the cliffs and cliff dive off 3 different heights into the waters.

Sand Hollow is located between St. George and Hurricane and has, for a long time, been a popular playground for people with dune buggies, dirt bikes, and 4-wheelers. The modern campgrounds and picnic areas have been developed adjacent to the beaches which make it easy to go back and forth.
